Breville is one of the wellknown small kitchen appliance brands that have been around since 1932. Their expertise in making juicers is quiet impressive and products like 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite and Breville BJE510XL have made them a common household choice. The Breville BJE510XL is a 900-Watt mid-range juicer that generates 12,500 rpm while the 800JEXL juice fountain elite produce 13,000 rpm that is capable of crushing any fruit or vegetable. Both are highly capable machines and one must take a closer look at their head to head standings before deciding the better one.
Both the juicers are equipped with a 3″ feeding tube which enables the user to juice a large amount of fruits and vegetables in no time. The wide 3″ tube prevents any spillage or problem in putting larger fruits inside the juicer. The Breville BJE510XL has 5 speed variable control LCD panels that make it easy to operate and control.
Breville 800JEXL can be worked at two different speeds of 13,000 RPM and 6,500 RPM. The super high speed mode of 13,000 rpm can be used to crush through harder fruits like pineapples, carrots and beetroots while the slower 6,500 RPM mode can be used to juice softer fruits like orange, watermelon etc. It can make 8 ounce glass of apple juice within five seconds. It also has a Safety lock mechanism to ensure safety.
Breville BJE510XL is built for home use and Breville have made sure that all the stainless steel components are dishwater safe. They are really easy to detach and assemble making cleaning a breeze. A pulp basket provided alongside the juicer keeps the work very neat and clean.
The Breville 800JEXL also has similar components that can be easily washed in a dishwasher. However the fruit and vegetable pulp needs to be cleaned up quickly after work as they might get stuck to the wire meshes after becoming dry.
The stainless steel body of the BJE510XL stands out among others and gives a solid feel to the machine. The finishing of the product is of very good quality.
Breville 800JEXL also sports a steel body that is slightly taller than BJE510XL. The height gives it a bit more elegant look. But both of them are much better than other cheap plastic body juicers that are weak and flimsy.
BJE510XL is 16.8 x 15.5 x 10.25 inches in dimension and this compact size makes it perfect for most kitchen countertops. A cleaning brush and a 1 L jug with a froth separator is provided along with it.
The 800JEXL is 17 x 11 x 20 inches and is little larger than the BJE510XL. A 1 L jug, 3 L pulp container, food pusher, brush is given along with this.
The 800JEXL has a more powerful motor that produces up to 13,000 RPM but it has only two variable speeds unlike the BJE510XL that has 5 variable speeds.
The 800JEXL is bigger and hence might not fit in all kitchens countertops while the other one is smaller and can be kept in most kitchens.
Breville BJE510XL has got a review rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars on amazon while 800JEXL has got 4.6 stars. It shows that they are almost equal in customer satisfaction.
The Breville BJE510XL is the higher mid-range juicer in the Breville range, but the 800JEXL is the flagship of them all. You usually pay about $50 extra for the 800JEXL. See the below chart for the current price on both of them.
